Divers Find Body Of Man In Sacramento River

WEST SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – Divers have found the body of a man in the Sacramento River Thursday morning.

Crews searched for him for several hours after he was reportedly seen going under the Tower Bridge just before 5 a.m. He reportedly screamed for help.

The water temperature was between 52 to 60 degrees at the time he went into the river, according to the Drowning Accident Rescue Team.

Dive teams were able to find the man's body about 10 minutes after entering the river. He was reportedly found about 30 feet off shore and 8 feet down.
