Man Shot And Killed In Arden Arcade Area
SACRAMENTO COUNTY (CBS13) - Deputies are investigating a homicide in the Arden Arcade area of Sacramento County.
At around 5 p.m. Monday, deputies received several calls reporting gunshots in the area of Bell Street and Church Avenue, according to Sgt. Lisa Bowman, a Sacramento County Sheriff's Department spokesperson.
When deputies arrived at what they said was a fairly active scene, they found a man in his 20's lying on the ground with multiple gunshot wounds. Paramedics pronounced the man dead at the scene.
More than one person is being questioned in connection with the shooting, and authorities believe there could be multiple suspects.
Late Tuesday morning, the Sacramento County Corner's Office identified the man shot and killed as 23-year-old Sacramento resident Jemahl A. Loharsingh.
