Kings GM Pete D'Alessandro Joins Keith Brooks And Carmichael Dave Monday 1/5 At 8 A.M.

Most of you have heard.

In case you haven't, Sacramento Kings GM Pete D'Alessandro will join us in studio Monday morning at 8 a.m. to answer any and all questions Kings fans may have about the current situation and future with the team.

WATCH A LIVE STREAM OF THE BROADCAST HERE!

This is a great opportunity for fans and front office to connect in a live, back-and-forth forum. Some details:

-This will not be "in studio." We have a stage set up in our "Bud Light Lounge" normally reserved for live music performances.

The Stage for tomorrow

I have asked the major Kings fan sites to pass along their top 10 questions (chosen by moderators based on demand), of which I will whittle down a combined 10. That will serve as the bulk of the questions I ask Pete myself.

In addition, there will be fans in the audience invited to participate and ask questions of their own, as well as anyone who wishes to call in to the listener line (916) 339-1140 and also be involved.

I will do my best to moderate between the three modes of questions, adding follow-ups if necessary.

I also have some suggestions:

Please keep your questions to personnel and team matters. Asking about the new arena, sight lines, and other business ops inquiries should be directed at someone like team president Chris Granger. I spoke with him today, and he would also be happy in the future to come on our show and answer those types of questions. Being that we have a limited time with Pete, it would be nice to get in as many basketball-related questions as possible.

Be respectful. Kings fans are the best in the world, no matter what the situation. Class is always there. But with so many questions swirling, and a lot of upset people, I just wanted to add that this is a pretty cool thing. Pete is coming on and answering all comers. While you may not like his answers, the access is fantastic. And who knows? Maybe by the end of the day everyone will feel a lot better. Bottom line: let's all be cool.

Let's also try not to repeat questions. Follow-ups are great, but make sure to listen from the beginning if you wish to participate (in person or via phone). Asking repeat questions can limit the time we have, and with so many people wanting to get involved, it's doubtful every single person will get their question. But that doesn't mean we can't do the best we can to try.

I have seen many worried that because of the constraints of morning radio, (commercials, traffic, sports updates, etc), the "flow" of the conversation may be interrupted. Well, good news. I want to thank my bosses for all the support they have given us for this. Radio is often about selling commercials and pleasing sponsors.

But in tomorrow's case, the hour we have with Pete will be presented COMMERCIAL FREE.

In addition, no sports updates, traffic updates, or anything else. Just you, and Pete.

For those of you in attendance or on the phone who may be nervous, don't be. I know there will be a lot of energy around this, but you're a Kings fan. Your opinion matters as much (if not more) than any media member or professional. Just be respectful, have your question prepared, and let it fly. This forum is for YOU.

If you are to be a member of the audience, please show up at 7:45 A.M. to 5244 Madison Avenue in Sacramento, where you will be escorted in and seated.

We will do our best both on my and the KHTK twitter accounts to keep you up to date and monitor the conversation. To help us organize it all, if you could use the hashtag #AskPdoro, that would be swell.

Every single minute of the conversation tomorrow will be streaming at KHTK.com, and available on the station website a couple of hours after broadcast for listening.

Any additional questions? Tweet me @carmichaeldave

Thanks again, and I can't wait for tomorrow.

Go Kings!
