Stockton Woman's Disappearance Being Called Suspicious

STOCKTON (CBS13) - Circumstances surrounding a Stockton woman's disappearance are being called suspicious by police.

Stockton police say Carolina Adkins, 26, went missing on January 1, 2015 from her north Stockton apartment complex at around 1:15 a.m. and has not been seen since.

Police are calling Adkins' disappearance suspicious because she has never done this before, her family says. In addition, she did not take her cell phone or purse with her.

Adkins is described as 5 feet 2 inches tall and weighs 100 pounds. She has brown hair, brown eyes and a medium complexion. She has numerous tattoos and a pierced tongue.
