Dense Fog Advisory In Effect Through Most Of Morning
SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – Officials have issued a Dense Fog Advisory for the entire valley Wednesday morning.
The advisory is in effect until 11 a.m., with the thickest fog expected in the western half of the valley.
With the fog coming at the same time as the morning rush hour, authorities are asking drivers to be extra-safe. Some safe fog driving tips, from the National Weather Service, are: driving with low beams, reducing speed, listening for traffic you cannot see, and being patient and not passing lines of traffic.
As of 7 a.m., some areas – like Stockton – have visibilities down to less than a fourth of a mile.
