Woman, 84, Killed In Tulare County By Hit-And-Run Driver
VISALIA, Calif. (AP) -- Authorities in Tulare County are search for a hit-and-run driver who killed an 84-year-old woman.
The Fresno Bee reports the woman was struck Wednesday evening while she was getting into her car in Orosi.
The California Highway Patrol says the suspect drove off in a blue Chevy Cavalier.
The woman, who was not identified, was taken to Kaweah Delta Medical Center in Visalia where she was pronounced dead.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the CHP.
