UPDATE: Missing Toddler Found Safe; AMBER Alert Canceled

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) — An AMBER Alert issued for a missing child in Southern California has been canceled.

Just after 3 a.m. Tuesday, CHP tweeted that the child had been found safe and the  suspect had been arrested.

The alert was sent out Monday afternoon after, authorities say, the child was abducted at 1:30 a.m. in San Pedro.

The child's name is Jayden Santiago, 1, a Hispanic male. The suspect is Giovany Santiago-Enriquez, a 37-year-old Hispanic male.

Santiago-Enriquez reportedly went to his ex-girlfriend's house and stabbed her boyfriend, and fled the scene.

According to a CHP statement, Santiago-Enriquez has reportedly made suicidal threats and has attempted suicide previously.
