Report: Former Ravens Receiver Smith Signs With 49ers

Former Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Torrey Smith has reached an agreement on a five-year deal with the San Francisco 49ers, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

The deal is worth $40 million with $22 million guaranteed.

Smith spent the last four seasons in Baltimore and had a career high 11 touchdowns in 2014.

The move assures that wide receiver Michael Crabtree will not be returning to San Francisco.

Smith joins Anquan Boldin as targets for quarterback Colin Kaepernick.

The new receiver adds speed and a deep threat to the 49ers offfense.
