Body Found In Ceres Orchard

CERES (CBS13) — A body was found in an orchard outside of Ceres on Monday.

Deputies say they were called out around 2:30 p.m. to a report of a body in the orchard, and when they looked at the scene, they deemed it suspicious.

No information was given on the gender or age or the victim, or the method of death.

Witnesses say they saw a fire in the area the night before, but thought nothing of it.
