Police Surround Stockton Home, Take Man Into Custody
STOCKTON (CBS13) - A man at the center of a standoff in Stockton has been taken into custody.
Police were at a home on Kingsley Avenue and Pixie Drive Tuesday morning after they received a call reporting a family disturbance at the residence, according to Stockton Police Department spokesperson Rosie Calderon.
The man finally came out of the home and was taken into custody as he was walking down the street.
Family members told police the man had recently been released from the hospital where he was being treated for trying to kill himself.
He is being referred back to a mental health facility.
