2 Dogs Rescued During Fire At Citrus Heights Home

CITRUS HEIGHTS (CBS13) – Fire crews are investigating what sparked a fire in a Citrus Heights home Tuesday morning.

The scene is near Schooner Way and Catamaran Drive, south of Antelope Road.

Firefighters were called just after 8:30 a.m. after flames were seen shooting from the house.

Two dogs in the home were rescued during the firefight, Metro Fire says.

No one was home at the time of the fire. Crews were able to contain the fire to the garage.

Investigators are on scene doing a preliminary investigation.
