One Man Killed In Stockton After Fight Between Roommates
STOCKTON (CBS13) - One Stockton man is dead and another is in critical condition after a fight on Tuesday night.
Stockton police say just after 11:30 p.m., the roommates men got into an argument at a home on east Sonoma Avenue. One roommate shot the other roommate. Then the one who was shot hit the other roommate on the head with a baseball bat.
The man who was hit on the head died. The other man was taken to the hospital in critical condition, but is expected to survive.
Neighbors and friends of the roommates are in shock.
"I got the phone call that said something happened on Sonoma. And I called this person because I thought it was on his neighborhood and his phone's off. And I get here and there's crime scene tape," said Michelle Martinez, who used to live by the roommates.
