1 Day Later, Still No Sign Of Missing Sacramento Girl

SACRAMENTO COUNTY (CBS13) – Deputies are desperately searching for 6-year-old Jadianna Larson, who has been missing since late Thursday morning.

"If you have her, just let us know you have her," said Paris Stokes, Jadianna's uncle.

A desperate cry from family searching for answers.

"If you see Jadianna, please contact the officers," said Erienne Schuman, Jadianna's aunt.

Jadianna was last seen inside her apartment at the Martin Luther King Jr. Village on 47th Avenue at 11 a.m. Thursday.

"It's hit home to my family," Stokes said. "We could be possibly 11 hours behind."

Stokes has no idea how long Jadianna's been missing. According to the Sacramento County Sheriff's Department, Jadianna's caretaker is the mother's boyfriend. He apparently had a medical emergency while watching her.

"His mother came to check on him, found that he had been in a medical emergency and that's when they discovered that Jadianna was missing," said Lisa Bowman, spokeswoman for the Sacramento County Sheriff's Department.

Bowman says Jadianna has not been in school all week.

"You can see from this area, it's quite industrial. It's also a gated complex, but she's 6 so … we just don't know exactly where she could have gone," Bowman said.

Jadianna is a light skinned African American. She's about 3 feet, 5 inches with brown ear-length curly hair, brown eyes and has a birthmark on the center of her face.

"They've searched all the leads that they have, even myself, my brother," Schuman said.

Deputies and family are now enlisting help from the community and a multi-agency search by Placer and Contra Costa county sheriff's departments is underway.

"We're hoping to God nothing happened," Stokes said.

Since the disappearance has not been a confirmed kidnapping, an Amber Alert has not been issued for Jadianna, the sheriff's department says.

Anyone who may have seen her or anyone who took her in is asked to call the sheriff's department at (916) 874-5115.
