"They have beams, wooden beams, supporting the structures, which is very, very unsafe. Sometimes scary when you walk on it or run on it, you can feel it vibrating and it can give at any time," said resident Eric Asare.

The city building inspector said if a complex is working on a stairwell, a permit needs to be taken out. He says he hasn't seen one from this complex.
