Fast-Moving Fire In South Sacramento Contained At 65 Acres
SACRAMENTO (CBS13) - A grass fire that had been threatening homes in South Sacramento has been contained.
The 65-acre fire burned near Gerber Road in South Sacramento. At one point, as many as 12 engines, two water tenders, one bulldozer and two helicopters were battling the fire.
A firefighter was injured during the firefight and taken to the hospital. He was reportedly breathing and conscious at the time.
