Police: Toddler Ejected From Car During Roseville Crash

ROSEVILLE (CBS13) – Police say a toddler was ejected from a car during a scary crash Saturday morning.

The incident happened at the intersection of Baseline Road and Brady Lane just after 9 a.m. Roseville Police say a Toyota Camry turning left was broadsided by an SUV.

An 18-month-old riding in the backseat of the Camry was ejected from the car, police say. Emergency responders took the child to the UC Davis Medical Center and say the toddler is expected to be OK.

Three other people from the cars involved in the crash were also hurt.

Police say there was a child safety seat in the back of the car, so it is unclear at this time why the toddler was ejected. Investigators are looking into the crash.

Baseline Road in the area was closed until early Saturday afternoon due to the crash.
