Kid's Reaction In Little League World Series Is Awesome [WATCH]
As baseball fans, we have seen our fair share of home runs, moon shots and bombs on the baseball field. The money shot being the disgusted look on the pitcher's face who gave the home run up as the batter gleefully rounds the bases.
Some pitchers slump over in defeat, some spit at the ground, some curse loudly in their glove, or some don't even turn around to see where the ball lands. Either way, you never get a smile and a jaw that hits the ground in shock.
Mekhi Garrard of the Midwest team was pitching to Cole Wagner of the Mid-Atlantic team in a blowout. He was down 14-0 with the bases loaded in just the third inning with Wagner coming up for the second time this inning (His first at-bat was a homer as well). The pitch was thrown and he crushed it. It's moments like this that remind us it's just a game. Garrard knew his season was over and with a shot like that, it's hard not to tip your cap to Wagner and his team.
