Police Release Description Of Gunman In Deadly Stockton Shooting

STOCKTON (CBS13) – Police are trying to find the shooter responsible for killing a 57-year-old man in his car early Sunday morning.

The shooting happened near Lincoln Street and Martin Luther King Boulevard just before 1 a.m. Stockton Police say a man was in his car when the suspect walked up to him.

After a short exchange, police say the suspect pulled out a gun and shot the man. He later died at a hospital.

The shooting suspect is described as a 30-year-old African American man about 6 feet tall and weighing 195 pounds. He was wearing a green jacket, black shirt and jeans.

A second suspect took a witness' keys away.
