Antelope Man Accused Of Picking Up Runaway Teen, Sexually Assaulting Her

ROSEVILLE (CBS13) – Detectives have arrested an Antelope man they believe sexually assaulted a teenager.

The alleged attack happened back in July. Roseville Police say a Sacramento County girl walked away from her home due to an argument. After a few miles, a man she didn't know offered her a ride.

Police say she asked the man to drive her to a place in Roseville. However, he instead took her to a secluded parking lot and sexually assaulted her.

The girl later went to the hospital to be treated. Using DNA evidence, detectives were able to identify 28-year-old Andrey Eryomenko as the suspect.

Eryomenko was arrested at his Antelope home on Wednesday. He is being held at Placer County Jail on $335,000 bail and is facing charges of forcible oral copulation and forcible sexual penetration.
