Bicyclist Hit, Killed By SUV Near Davis

DAVIS (CBS13) – Authorities say a bicyclist was hit and killed by a SUV near Davis Friday morning.

The scene is near County Road 99 and W. Covell Boulevard. California Highway Patrol says the driver of the SUV saw the bicyclist at the last second.

The SUV driver stopped just after hitting the bicyclist. CHP says the bicyclist, only identified as a man, suffered fatal injuries.

CHP has not released the identity of the bicyclist.
