SWAT Team Surrounding South Sacramento Home Following Shooting

SOUTH SACRAMENTO (CBS13) — Police have surrounded a home in search of a suspect in a shooting from early on Tuesday.

A 19-year-old was shot in the leg at around 7 p.m. on Bogey Court. Investigators say the suspect is possibly a neighbor.

A SWAT team has been called out to a home near Power Inn and Gerber roads in South Sacramento where they believe the suspect is holed up inside.

The victim is expected to survive.
