2 Dead, 2 Hurt In Shooting At South Sacramento Cafe

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – Shots rang out at a café early Friday morning, killing two people and sending two others to the hospital.

The scene is on Florin Road, near Power Inn Road. Deputies say they responded to the scene around 1 a.m. and found that four people had been shot.

"They're bodies laying out in the parking lot," said Darren Williams, who works nearby.

Two people have died while the two others have been sent to the hospital. One of the injured reportedly has life-threatening injuries.

Witnesses told deputies that the shooting looks to have stemmed from some sort of physical altercation between two groups inside the café. Both groups were trying to get out of the café when the shots were fired.

"I live like five minutes away, so it's kind of disturbing knowing that you come in the morning or you're going out at night and there might just be a random shooting," said Nancy Granados, who lives nearby.

Detectives believe the shooting may be gang-related.
