Detectives Investigating After Woman Found Dead In South Sacramento Home
SACRAMENTO COUNTY (CBS13) – Detectives are investigating a possible homicide after a woman was found dead in her mobile home.
Deputies were called to the 7400 block of Gem Street early Wednesday afternoon to investigate a suspicious dead body. At the scene, deputies discovered the body of a woman who had apparently suffered major trauma.
Investigators say one of the witnesses who reported the suspicious circumstance to authorities noticed that the front door of the woman's home was ajar.
Further, detectives believe the woman had been dead for up to four days.
It is still unclear what caused the woman's death, as the coroner's office will make the final determination.
