Citrus Heights Barricaded Suspect Found With Self-Inflicted Gunshot Wound
7:30 p.m. UPDATE: Police say they entered the home and found a man believed to the suspect suffering from what looks to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
The man has been rushed to the hospital.
According to the Citrus Heights Police Department, officers heard a single gunshot when they were originally setting up a perimeter around the house.
Officers were unable to make contact with the suspect, so they sent in a robot from the Sacramento County Sheriff's Department. The robot found the injured man.
Police say they were originally called to the scene due to some sort of domestic disturbance.

CITRUS HEIGHTS (CBS13) – Authorities are at the scene of a barricaded suspect at a Citrus Heights home.
The scene is near Lichen Drive and Cloverleaf Way.
Citrus Heights Police say they are working with the Sacramento County Sheriff's Department in the incident.
Police believe the suspect might be armed.
