Man Killed In Hit-And-Run In South Sacramento
SACRAMENTO (CBS13) - Police are looking for the driver suspected of hitting and killing a man in south Sacramento early Saturday morning.
The scene was near Mack Road and Archean Way. According to the Sacramento Police Department, officers were called to the scene just before 1 a.m. and found an unresponsive man lying in the road.
Medics soon pronounced the man dead at the scene.
Investigators believe the man was hit by one car that was heading west on Mack Road. That car took off.
A second car then hit the man, but this driver stayed until officers got to the scene.
Investigators have interviewed witnesses and are looking at cameras in the area to help with their investigation. Anyone who knows who the suspect driver might be is asked to call detectives at (916) 808-3060.
