Guide To Super Bowl City

 

The NFL has many different events throughout Super Bowl week. Because it is the Super Bowl's 50th anniversary, the NFL has plans to make this Super Bowl week greater than any others.

Of course, the Bay Area is one of the most diverse and technologically advanced regions in the world and the NFL is going to take advantage of that.

Super Bowl City is a week-long free celebration which the NFL is putting on to not only highlight football and its history, but it will also show off what makes the Bay Area as great as it is.

Technology, food, and the many different cultures from around the Bay Area will be on display for fans and tourists of all ages to enjoy.

Super Bowl City is going to be at the Justin Herman Plaza located on the Embarcadero at Market Street..

Inside Super Bowl City will be an attraction called the Fan Energy Zone.

The Energy Zone will comprise of three separate areas: the Fan Dome, Fan Wall and Fan stage.

All showing off the different areas of the Zone will highlight the developing technology, games and social media being developed in the Bay Area.

The Fan Dome will allow fans to become players through virtual avatars which will mimic the real movements by using motion sensors.

The Fan Wall will give people a visual of all the different events going on through Super Bowl week. It will have videos, social media feeds and leader boards from the Energy Zone games.

There will be live music, celebrity appearances and autograph signings will all be held at the Fan Stage.

All of the festivities for Super Bowl City will begin Saturday, January 30, and end on Super Bowl Sunday.

Fans can also watch CBS and the NFL Network broadcast live from Super Bowl City all week long.
