Sacramento Man Killed In Shooting Tried To Flee In Vehicle From Suspects

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) — A man was shot and later crashed his vehicle into a fence has died from his injuries.

Sacramento Police say they found the 35-year-old man who was unresponsive in the car with multiple gunshot wounds.

Investigators say the victim likely exchanged gunfire with unknown suspects near the 3700 block of Branch Street. After he was shot, they say he got into a car and eventually crashed into a residential fence.

Police don't have a motive or description of possible suspects, but they do not believe the shooting was random.
