Feds: 'I Have Your Tacos' Was Cover For Meth Deals At Sacramento County Restaurant

SACRAMENTO COUNTY (CBS13) — Investigators say a major drug and gun running ring is out of commission after search warrants were served at four properties on Wednesday.

Federal agents arrested six people and recovered everything from meth to assault rifles. Agents say the group trafficked all of it during the course of the two-year investigation.

Deputies say most of the transactions were done outside gas stations and car shops, and inside restaurants and an auto dealership.

Records show most of the action was as Marisco's El Camaron restaurant.

The case started with a police source and two undercover agents. At one transaction, agents say the suspect used the code phrase "I have your tacos," before handing them a to-go container of meth.

The FBI made 11 similar arrests in a linked case in Cleveland.
