Dog With Severe Burns Found Abandoned In Sacramento

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) — Investigators are looking for the people who abandoned a dog with severe burns along her back.

The Front Street Animal Shelter posted pictures of the dog on Facebook in hopes of identifying the owner.

The dog was found on Power Inn Road across the street from Danny Nunn Park in Sacramento. She's now receiving extensive medical care and will have to undergo longterm recovery.

As of Wednesday afternoon, the shelter says they have not received any tips on the case.
