Police: Man Attacked, Kidnapped Teen Girlfriend In Stockton

STOCKTON (CBS13) - This is the latest on the search for a teen suspected of being attacked and kidnaped in Stockton:

10 a.m.

The father of suspect Alex Quinones tells CBS13 that a huge fight preceded the incident.

He says Quinones smashed a car into the garage, then took off with the teen girl.

The girl was later found at a Stockton am/pm after an Amber Alert was issued.

8:15 a.m.

The girl has been found at the am/pm store at the corner of Fremont Street and Pershing Avenue, Stockton Police say.

Officers are still searching for the suspect.

The Amber Alert has been canceled, police say.

8:05 a.m.

Police say the suspect's car was found in the Stockton area empty.

A search is now on to find the victim and suspect.

7:35 a.m.

Police are looking for a man suspected of violently attacking his teen girlfriend and kidnapping her.

The incident happened around 5 a.m. Thursday. According to the Stockton Police Department, 22-year-old Alex Quinones was at his parent's house along the 3300 block of Bea Hackman Court when he attacked his 15-year-old girlfriend.

Quinones then allegedly forced his girlfriend to get in a car. He took off and is now believed to be headed to Fresno or San Jose.

An Amber Alert has been issued by California Highway Patrol.

The car is described as a blue 2010 Chevy Impala with the license plate number 6TDX789.

Anyone who sees the car or Quinones is asked to call 911 immediately.
