Bodies Of 2 Teens Missing In Central Valley Reservoir Recovered

2:25 p.m. UPDATE: Authorities say the body of the second teen missing has been found, the Stanislaus County Sheriff Department says.

It is unclear where the body was found.

Earlier Tuesday, crews pulled out the body of the other boy who went missing on Woodward Reservoir. The boys went mission on Saturday.

STANISLAUS COUNTY (CBS13) – The body of one teen that went missing on the Woodward Reservoir has been found, authorities say.

Two 15-year-old boys went missing after they jumped off a boat on into the reservoir on Saturday afternoon. Family members on the boat said it did not appear that the boys were wearing life jackets.

Search crews battled murky water with visibility of only about two to three feet. Water in the area was about 14 to 18 feet deep.

Tuesday morning, the Stanislaus County Sheriff's Department announced the body of one of the two teens had surfaced. Family reportedly saw the boy's body surface and called 911.

The boy's body has been recovered.

The other boy has not been located as of late Tuesday morning. Search crews will be out until they find the boy, deputies say.
