Deputies Investigating After 2 People Found Shot Near Empire

STANISLAUS COUNTY (CBS13) - Authorities are investigating after two people were found shot near the small town of Empire.

The scene is near Yosemite Boulevard and Leek Road. The Stanislaus County Sheriff's Department says deputies responded to the scene around 9:30 a.m. Tuesday and found two people suffering from gunshot wounds.

Both people have been transported to the hospital. Their conditions are not clear.

Deputies believe the suspects took off on Yosemite Boulevard.
