Suspects Throw Rocks Off Overpass Onto Stockton Police Patrol Car

STOCKTON (CBS13) – A Stockton police patrol car was targeted by vandals, authorities say.

The incident happened late Monday night. Stockton police say officers were driving along Harding Way and under the United Pacific Rail Road overpass when the vandals struck.

Officers say the suspects threw dozens of rocks off the overpass and at the patrol car.

The patrol car's hood, windshield, roof and light bar were damaged.

Police could not identify the suspects. The officers were not hurt in the incident.
