Man, 31, Found Fatally Shot In Woodland

WOODLAND (CBS13) - Police are investigating after man was found fatally shot inside of a car in Woodland early Wednesday morning.

The Woodland Police Department says officers responded to the 500 block of Community Lane after a report of shots fired. At the scene, they found that a car had crashed into another car parked on the sidewalk.

Inside, a 31-year-old man was found with a gunshot wound.

Medics responded, but the man was soon pronounced dead.

Police say the Yolo County Gang Task Force is investigating the incident. A motive and suspect have not been identified at this time.
