Deadly Seven-Car Crash Kills 1 In Elk Grove

6:08 p.m. UPDATE: Elk Grove Police now say seven cars are involved in the crash.

ELK GROVE (CBS13) — A five-vehicle collision has claimed the life of at least one person in Elk Grove.

The crash happened on Friday afternoon at Laguna Boulevard and Laguna Oaks Drive.

Elk Grove Police say at least one person has died from their injuries.

Fire officials say three more patients were being prepared for transport to a hospital.
