Firefighters Battling Wildfire Near Pilot Hill
PILOT HILL (CBS13) - Crews are making good progress battling a wildfire off of Storksbill Road near the El Dorado County community of Pilot Hill.
The fire off Storksbill Road near the South Fork of the American River started just after 2 this afternoon.
Cal Fire reports that structures are threatened, but it is unclear what kind. About 60 acres have burned so far and it is 40 percent contained.
Mandatory evacuations are taking place for Storksbill and Hound Hollow Roads.
