Tahoe Queen Damaged In Fire; 1 Person Hurt

ZEPHYR COVE (CBS13) - Authorities say one person was hurt in a fire on the Tahoe Queen cruise ship Tuesday morning.

Fire crews responded to the ship at Zephyr Cove on Lake Tahoe around 8 a.m. First responders say one person was treated at the scene for smoke inhalation.

The fire was contained and crews are now using booms to clean debris out of the water.

No fuel is leaking from the ship, crews say.

The extent of the damage caused by the fire is still being assessed.
