Stockton Police Shoot Man Who Fired Gun On Porch
STOCKTON (CBS13) — A man was wounded by police after officers say he refused to drop a weapon and then pointed it at them on Sunday night.
Officers responded to reports of someone firing a gun on the 2500 block of East Roosevelt Street. Officers heard a shot when they arrived and saw a man in his 30s holding a gun on a porch.
When he refused to drop the gun, four Stockton Police officers opened fire, wounding the man.
The suspect was taken to a hospital and is expected to survive.
