Father, Daughter In Pima County Killed In Murder-Suicide

TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) — Pima County authorities say a father and his adult daughter are the victims of an apparent murder-suicide.

Pima County Sheriff's deputies say they received a tip Friday morning that 71-year-old David Vystrcil was possibly dead inside his home and that his 45-year-old daughter, Marie Weber, was armed with a handgun.

Deputies evacuated the immediate area and a SWAT team was dispatched.

Authorities say they tried to make contact with Weber for several hours but there was no response.

SWAT officers entered the home around 2 p.m. and found Vystrcil and Weber dead.

Both had obvious signs of trauma.

The investigation remains ongoing.
