Sacramento Girl Hit By SUV On Her Way To School

SACRAMENTO COUNTY (CBS13) — A young girl on a bicycle was hit by a vehicle on her way to school on Friday.

The crash happened at a shopping center near Howe Elementary School.

The 10-year-old girl was hit by an SUV. According to the California Highway Patrol, the SUV driver was looking one way, and the girl was approaching from the other direction.

The girl was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

The driver stayed at the scene.
