Yuba County Officer-Involved Shooting Closes Part Of Feather River Boulevard
YUBA COUNTY (CBS13) — An officer-involved shooting has shut down Feather River Boulevard in Yuba County.
Investigators are combing the area around the shooting for evidence.
The scene is at Feather River Boulevard and Virginia Avenue.
Investigators say they responded to the scene of a traffic accident, where gunshots were reportedly fired. When deputies arrived, there was an altercation between the people involved in the crash.
At one point, one of the people involved pointed a gun at a deputy, who responded by opening fire, missing the person with the gun.
A man was taken to the hospital with injuries sustained during the initial altercation.
Nobody was struck by gunfire.
