Woman Dies In South Sacramento Shooting

SOUTH SACRAMENTO (CBS13) — A woman has died after a shooting on Tortola Way on Thursday.

The shooting happened just before 8 p.m. at a home on the 6700 block of Tortola Way.

A woman was struck by gunfire and rushed to a nearby hospital where she died. There was also a man and two children inside the home at the time of the shooting. They were not hurt.

There are no suspect descriptions or a possible motive right now.

The woman's name has not been released.
