Police Department Evacuated After Citizen Brings In Grenades

SUNNYVALE, Calif. (AP) — The Sunnyvale Police Department is evacuating its headquarters after a citizen brought in ammunition and grenades into the lobby for disposal.The department said Saturday afternoon its headquarters will be closed indefinitely and is advising people to stay away from the area.

It says a bomb squad is on its way there.

No other information was immediately available.
