Man Shot, Killed In North Sacramento

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – Authorities are investigating deadly shooting in North Sacramento.

Officers were called to Academy Way, near Del Paso Boulevard, about 7 p.m. on Tuesday.

Officers soon found a man who had been shot. Authorities say they tried to perform CPR, but say the victim later died.

Investigators say they are searching the area for the gunman.

Police say Academy Way in the area will be closed while they investigate the scene.
