Al Pacino Inspires Raiders During Practice

While the Oakland Raiders stretched before the start of practice, a voice could be heard over the usual musical soundtrack on the loudspeaker. It was Al Pacino in the role of coach Tony D’Amato in […]

Oakland’s Anemic Running Game Is Historically Bad This Season

The 2014 Oakland Raiders not only have yet to win a game this season, but they are also on pace to post the worst team rushing yards total since the NFL switched to 16-game seasons in 1978. That’s right: The Silver & Black can’t run the ball, and it’s killing their rookie quarterback’s chances to succeed.

Rookie Derek Carr Hits Bump In Latest Raiders Loss

Opponent Profile: Can The Raiders Beat Suddenly Sinking Chargers?

The San Diego Chargers have lost three straight games, the last two by whopping margins. Does this mean the winless Oakland Raiders have a chance to beat them? The Silver & Black came close in the teams’ first matchup in Oakland, but this Week 11 contest will be in San Diego. There are always a lot of Raiders fans in San Diego, though, so maybe this is Oakland’s chance to get into the win column and avoid a 16-game losing streak.

Team Grades: Raiders Can’t Sustain Strong Start Against Broncos

The Oakland Raiders are 0-9 this season, and the Silver & Black have now lost their last 15 games dating back to the 2013 season. Is there any win in sight? Not as long as the defense continues to stink…and the offense continues to struggle. No one is really doubting the effort of the 2014 Raiders, but the results just aren’t there.

Raiders O-line Faces Toughest Test Yet

Trying to stop Denver’s pass rush tandem of defensive end DeMarcus Ware and linebacker Von Miller would be a tough challenge for the winless Raiders under the best circumstances. Doing it without a key starter certainly […]

Injury Report: Raiders Still Banged Up And Bruised In Week 10

Not much changes for the Oakland Raiders these days: They keep losing games, and they can’t get healthy, either. With their talent level, the Silver & Black can ill afford to be injured. But now the last winless team in the NFL faces the high-scoring Denver Broncos at home, and the roster is banged up and bruised still.

Raiders’ Running Game Remains Nonexistent

Winless Raiders Search For Positives

The four games since Tony Sparano took over as Oakland Raiders interim coach might have been more competitive than the first four under the fired Dennis Allen. The results, however, haven’t changed a bit. The […]

How The Raiders Improve For 2015 Since This Season Is Lost Already

Regardless of whether the Oakland Raiders win a game this season or not, the year is lost. It’s time to look at next season’s roster, anticipating that a new general manager and a new permanent coach will be in charge of the Silver & Black for 2015 and beyond.

The Broncos are going to have to shake off their Week Nine loss to New England, and while the pain from that loss is likely to linger, this veteran team will move on to the Raiders.
