It’s been a tough week for the Oakland Raiders. They’ve lost two games in four days. Head coach Dennis Allen left the team to be with his father who died from a heart attack. The team has suffered six straight losses with no end in sight.
The Oakland Raiders fell again, this time to the Cleveland Browns. Oakland has lost five straight to drop to 3-9. It’s the first losing season for the team since 2009 and its worst losing streak since 2007.

Running backs Darren McFadden and Mike Goodson finally returned to practice after missing three games with high ankle sprains. They won’t see teammate Rolando McClain who has been suspended without pay for two games for conduct detrimental to the team. The Browns have various injuries but their key players should all be active this Sunday.
Troubled linebacker Rolando McClain was absent from practice Wednesday for “team related issues.” McClain has been a major disappointment and has seen his playing time drastically reduced since the first month of the season. Running backs Darren McFadden and Mike Goodson returned to practice for the first time in nearly a month.
The Raiders have assured themselves of another mediocre season with their eighth loss. As professionals, the players owe it to themselves, the organization, and most importantly the fans to play with some pride the final five games.
The Oakland Raiders have now lost four straight after they got embarrassed Sunday by the Bengals, 34-10. It was just ugly and there’s no way to sugarcoat how poorly the team is playing during this stretch. Frustrations boiled over with a bench-clearing brawl in the fourth quarter.
It’s the first game back in Cincinnati for Carson Palmer. On the other side, former Raiders head coach Hue Jackson is now a special teams and defensive backs assistant coach and this reunion only adds to the storyline.
With new head coach Dennis Allen and general manager Reggie McKenzie, the Raiders are 3-7 and appear headed for their 10th straight non-winning season.
The Oakland Raiders are really struggling. They have allowed 135 points during their current three-game losing streak. Now at 3-7, the team will have to run the table and go 6-0 to stay above .500 and have any chance of making the playoffs.
With high powered passing offenses and poor defenses, Sunday’s game between the Oakland Raiders and New Orleans Saints could be very interesting. More injuries mean that an already limited roster will make things even more difficult for the Silver and Black.
The Oakland Raiders are looking at themselves in the mirror and trying to take accountability for their many shortcomings both offensively and defensively. The person who has to take some of the responsibility is head coach Dennis Allen.
