After an impressive performance on Monday Night, the 49ers get to try and keep things going this week against the Broncos. Another good game and the 49ers will have confidence and momentum heading into their week off. A loss though could create some doubt in a team still fighting for its playoff life.
Next up for the 2014 Oakland Raiders: the Arizona Cardinals, the team currently leading the tough NFC West with a 4-1 record this season. The Cardinals aren’t a dominating team, however, and if the Silver & Black can play well for a second week in a row for once, they may have a shot at the upset at the Coliseum.
The NFL week kicks off tonight with Houston hosting Indianapolis in a battle of teams tied atop the AFC South. Divisional matchups are generally tough to predict, so we’ll stay away from that one – […]
Peyton Manning is seen as one of, if not, the greatest quarterback to play in the NFL. After the five-time MVP’s performance against the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday, it is fitting to remember why Manning is so loved by fans, non-fans, and those within the league.
The Oakland Raiders have a new head coach, for now, and they’ve just had their bye week. How will they fare against the 4-1 San Diego Chargers at home this week? Including Sunday’s Week Five action, the San Diego Chargers are 4-1, the Denver Broncos are 3-1, and the Kansas City Chiefs are 2-3. Each team has a positive points differential, while the Oakland Raiders are 0-4 with a minus-52 differential. Yes, it’s going to be a long season for the Silver & Black.
Monday morning football. Nothing but NFL all day long. Raiders go to New England and put up a good fight, but lose. Niners go to Arizona, played well in the first half but did not […]
Diehard fans may want to close their eyes: with an 0-2 start and staring at possible 0-6 start now, the Oakland Raiders will be hard-pressed to avoid two ugly fates in 2014: they could end up worse than the 4-12 record they posted last year, and they could end up as the worst team in the NFL.
One week down, sixteen to go. If the NFL offseason hasn’t cornered the market on football hyperbole, instant reaction from week one gives it a run for the money. Every team is either undefeated or […]
The Grant Napear Show started a little bit later because of the Oakland A’s game against the Seattle Mariners. Grant started off the show talking about the struggles of the A’s and what he thinks […]
