A rare motion filed in Sacramento County Superior Court says investigators may have the wrong man, saying the evidence points to somebody else who hasn’t been charged.
The Sheriff’s Electronic Eye Program would map out the locations of the cameras, so deputies can find possible evidence faster. The directory would not allow deputies to tap into private cameras, as it would just indicate where the cameras are.
His appearance comes just a day after his arrest in the 13-year-old’s murder. Funk-Haslam was discovered stabbed and strangled more than a year ago in Rosemont Community Park.
