What more can be said about River City Saloon? This bar has made lists on the CBS “Best of” section on more than a few occasions for different reasons. The saloon will have a cover charge of only $10 which is surely one of the more affordable door charges in town this night. River City Saloon will also be handing out wristbands with the price of admission, allowing guests in-and-out privileges. Normally the ability to walk in and out of a place is not a big deal, but on a night like New Year’s Eve, the rules are a little different. Many people will certainly be taking a timeout from the night’s festivities at places in Old Sacramento like River City to take a look at the annual Old Sacramento New Year’s Eve Fireworks Show.
