For over 30 years, Harlow’s has been one of Sacramento’s favorite places for a night out. With dinner shows, live music and a great dance floor, this venue has a lot to offer the music lover. Every New Year’s Eve, it puts together an amazing party. This year, its “New Year’s Dance Party” features the band Lovefool, a San Francisco-based ’90s cover band. The fun doesn’t stop there; Lovefool’s sets often contain hits from the last two decades as well. Tickets for this show are sure to sell out at only $25. Hungry? The River City Saloon
916 2nd St.
Sacramento CA 95812
What more can be said about River City Saloon? This bar has made lists on the CBS “Best of” section on more than a few occasions for different reasons. The saloon will have a cover charge of only $10 which is surely one of the more affordable door charges in town this night. River City Saloon will also be handing out wristbands with the price of admission, allowing guests in-and-out privileges. Normally the ability to walk in and out of a place is not a big deal, but on a night like New Year’s Eve, the rules are a little different. Many people will certainly be taking a timeout from the night’s festivities at places in Old Sacramento like River City to take a look at the annual Old Sacramento New Year’s Eve Fireworks Show.
