Best Bars And Nightclubs With Retro Nights In Sacramento

For those in town who enjoy listening to music from other decades, there are several places you can go to get your fix. For many, music of the 80s takes you back to high school. Music from the 90s might take you back to being a young adult and experiencing life at its fullest. Some of this area's hot spots have set aside designated nights for those "old folks" to take a trip back in time and revisit the past. Some of the younger generations enjoy the retro music as well and will frequent the bars on these nights. Here are some of the places to check out for a great throw back.

This place is a rare find indeed. With retro right in the name, the theme is no secret. Club Retro is located outside of Sacramento in Roseville but worth the short drive. While there is alcohol served and a full bar, Club Retro also caters to the under-21 crowd. Every night, the club has bands performing 80's, country, folk and top 40 music. Cover charges vary and event information is consistently updated on the website. Formerly located in Orangevale, Club Retro has locations in Fresno, Humboldt and Cincinnati along with the Roseville spot.

Town House Lounge

Sacramento, CA 95811

Town House Lounge is one of those bars that doesn't look like much from the outside. This just goes to prove, you really should never judge a book by its cover. Town House isn't the newest, hippest or even the classiest place in town but it has tons of character. Every Wednesday is 80's night at Town House with no cover charge. The bartenders are awesome, the crowd is there to have a good time and the music is enjoyable. Check out Town House on other nights of the week as well. It's just another one of those very comfortable Sacramento staples.
